Female Lead Vocalists

I am doing some research into female singers for instance how they are incorparated in the band and what the audience thinks of this. This is because the band we have chosen (The Riot Tapes) have a female singer and I am interested to see what effect this will have on the perception of the band.

Some examples of female singers are:

- Hayley Williams (Paramore)
- Gwen Stefani (formerly of No Doubt)
- Amy Lee (Evanescence)

However, here are responses given to his discussion: (they all disagree that bands with female singers are perceived as poor)

I know this is small amount of opinion, but it shows that there is a fairly positive response to bands with female singers (like our created artist). Also, these people are a good source of information and research because they obviously have a good understanding of a wide range of music and believe in their opinion enough to post a comment on this subject.
