As Henry said some music videos contain the lyrics. I think this is a good idea and gives an interesting affect to the video.
Through research of music videos i have seen some music videos contain cartoons. I also like this idea because cartoons in music videos like 'Strawberry Swing' by Coldplay or 'Lollipop' by Mika or 'Crazy Frog' by Axel F make the video interesting and although it could be difficult to do, there is the possibility of using drawings and not animating them but using them as stills that link with the lyrics for brief moments to add a different effect and make the video more unusual and interesting.
