- The Kooks (English acoustic based music, inspired because of their fashion/image, use of indie conventions such as black and white hue and artists shown throughout the video)
- Arctic Monkeys (use of animation and special effects in many videos such as: "Brainstorm" - general imagery portrayed in the videos)
- Razorlight - Similar reasons to 'The Kooks', jeans and general casual look
- Paramore (lead female singers - just like our song, the image seen below shows: hairstlyes, loud colours (yellow, white, red, green), indie t-shirts, hoodies, cardigan - clean crisp look, use of accessories such as scarf)
- Flyleaf (another example of female lead vocalists, the tracks are similar to those of 'Paramore' and to a lesser extent the 'Riot Tapes' (the band that have provided us with their song for coursework)
- Coldplay (another example of how special effects could be used to create a particular image for example Life in Technicolour II and also how comedy could be added to the video through the use of different props in this case the puppets.)
