"Said The Hatter" Artist Logo

When we were thinking about our artist's image and digipacks today, I also drew up a logo for our artist (albeit very basic). I was basing it on the Arctic Monkeys logo from their album Favourite Worst Nightmare, which has jagged edges and is quite wacky:

 I am aware that mine is not quite so good, but I still want to have our band image/logo/iconography to have a colourful, weird and random aspect to it - to conform to the independent 'indie' genre. Here is my initial idea for "Said The Hatter", even if the logo is weak, the principles it draws upon could be taken into account:
