Individual Progress Report

I feel that i have made good progress in my coursework so far. (for more information please visit my Twitter)
I have done all of the following:

• Worked individually on using the blog and blog enhancement - posting images, videos and hyperlinks
• Worked out how to use Prezi the presentation maker and also wordle
• Collected together everyones frees and made a timetable so we know when we can work together as a group
• Researched general conventions of music videos
• Used prezzi to create a slideshow of information - increasing my use of technology
• Researched the history of music videos and music video directors
• Learning how to use a widget weather gadget to put UK weather onto the blog
• Researched the genre and conventions for the genre including costume, mise-en-scene and audience
• Researched conventions of the genre
• 2 Video analysis - one general and one relating to genre
• Research on how to make a good music video
• Techniques we would i like and other good techniques to use in our music video
• Been in contact with the artist we would like to use
• Used voice recording technology for a group discussion on which genre of music video to use and other issues - i am still working out how to post this to the blog
• Posted my opinion on which song i would prefer to use

There are still some things to post such as other responses from artists and also i need to do some research into the female artist/ singer to try and understand the differences between male and female artists.
